Both are the same...

It was 25-09-1993: yesterday I completed parayana of the 51st Chapter of Sai Satcharitra. Every time I completed parayana, Shirdi Sai was gracious enough to provide me with an ever-lasting experience. It did not happen so this time. So I looked to my Master and I prayed on HIM- requesting HIM to at least to grant me a with a meaningful dream.

As desired, it was a dream sequence. I reached Kakinada Railway Station, my native place, a town in Andhra Pradesh, India. The location was a Waiting Room on the platform inside the station. I found lot of people fallen in line waiting for their turn to have the Darshan of Sri Sathya Sai and to have his blessings. I handed over my baggage to a friend of mine for safe custody and went inside the room. The moment I saw him, my memories were traced back to an incident that happened to me in a dream during the year 1964. In those days, I knew little about Sri Sathya Sai who visited Kakinada and I have in fact abused him while in a company due to my ignorance.

The same night, Sri Sathya Sai appeared in my dream and placed his hand on my shoulder and I had the feeling of an electric shock in my body. I had a passing thought that what shall happen to me if I touch his feet and seek pardon. I stood numb without any action or thought as if I was waiting for an instruction to come. Sri Sathya Sai smiled typically and advised me to perform " Padha Pooja". Without wasting any time further, I performed the Padha pooja.

I completed the ritual and raised my head only to witness the surprise of the surprises i.e., finding Shirdi Sai seated in position. It was awakened to my senses and got a clear verdict - a message to convey exactly what all happened to Moole Shastry as highlighted in 12th Chapter in Shirdi Sai Satcharitra as follows. Moole Shastry was bestowed and blessed with Darshan of his Guru Gholav Swami while performing Padha Pooja to Shirdi Sai and on completion to find Shirdi Sai seated in the same position. Also in the 33rd Chapter of Shirdi Sai Satcharitra, Sri Shirdi Sai seeks a dakshina of one rupee from Haribhav Karnik, while entering the temple premises of Kala Ram (Nasik) in the form of Narasingh Maharaj Yogi.

All this went beyond my doubts to establish that all saints are working in unison for the betterment and spiritual advancement of their devotees. In fact it is a unique way of Shirdi Sai to appear to his devotees in a fitting manner, after reading the devotee's mind. Appearing in different forms emphasized his omniscience and to lead all his devotees in a chosen path. The incidents that happened during the years 1964 and 1993 have strengthened my belief that Shirdi Sai appeared in the form of Sri Sathya Sai as my thoughts were then revolving round Sri Sathya Sai.
