Significance Of Sai Avatar

In Hindu Mythology it is emphasized that the God has appeared in Avatars on the earth. Ava means to below (on to earth). Tarayati means to descend. The god one who descends to earth is known as Avatar.

The Avatar takes a human birth from time to time, to help humanity establish righteousness, instill love in humans and grant liberation. Since Avatar comes with all the divine powers, in human form, He can be mistaken for one who gives earthly boons. Lord Vishnu has Ten Avatars and the tenth one is due when the Kali become unbearable. The Ten Avatars of Vishnu are 1. Mastya, 2. Kurma, 3. Varaha, 4. Narasimha, 5. Vamana, 6. Parasurama, 7. Rama, 8. Krishna, 9. Buddha and 10. Kalki. If you critically analyze the Avatars, you find that God willed to appear time to time and wanted to perfect the Human incorporating Love in him. He has been trying to do that from Vamana Avatar. The Avatars before Vamana are Narasimha> Varaha>Kurma> Mastya. From Mastya to Narasimha, was an exercise by God to shape the perfect human being. Narasimha is the half -lion and half-human form. From Vamana to Buddha God has tried to make the human being embodiment of Love. It is believed that Kalki Avatar would be appearing at the end of KaliYuga. Sai Baba Avatars are the culmination of the mission of God. God has reincarnated as Shiridi Sai and Sathya Sai in this KaliYuga, to perfect the humans through instilling Love and Righteousness in them.

Bible proclaims that Jesus is Avatar. “When the Divine comes in human form, He moves among human beings but He can never be affected by them or deflected from His path. Envious people heaped insults on Jesus. Even among his disciples, some betrayed him and deserted him. Self -seeking people turn envious of the good and great. Since Prema (Love) of Jesus had no trace of selfishness in it, Jesus was not afraid. The loveless are enveloped in fear. Love instills courage and promotes adventure. It delights in daring. If you follow the Master, you can face the devil, fight to the end and finish the game”- BABA

Why God only has to descend as Avatar?

Once Emperor Akbar asked his courtiers, in Hindu Mythology, it is written that God descends as Avatar to safeguard the Righteousness. Can you make me understand why only god has to descend as Avatar even though crores of other Devtas are there to obey his orders? Tansen was present at that time and taken Akbar’s permission to give a reply within specified time at an appropriate moment. After a few days, Akbar arranged to go on a boat ride in the river for a change. Tansen thought that it is the right moment to give a fitting reply to Akbar’s question. He prepared a life-size dummy of Akbar’s son and took it along with them concealed. As they were enjoying the boat ride, Tansen threw the dummy into the river and shouted ‘The Prince slipped into the river and is drowning’. As soon as Akbar heard this, forgetting that he is an emperor, and that he has many servants to obey his orders, at once jumped into the river to save his son. Tansen helped him to come out and said ‘Oh! My Lord, this incidence gives the answer to your question. When you heard that your son is in danger and distress, you forgot that you are emperor and there are so many servants to obey your orders, you yourself jumped to save your son. Likewise, when the God’s children are in distress and cry for his help, He forgets that he is God and descends to earth as Avatar to save his moaning children”.

Bhagawan’ Divinity established

Dr. Frank Baranowski is a Professor in Arizona State University and he is specialist in Kirlian Photography. Through this technique he can study the physical qualities of a person, his temperament, nature, mental status etc. he can also photograph of the bio-magnetic field. The photograph shows the nature of different people in the form of color bands. He has applied his technique on many sages, political leaders and VIPs many times.

On one Sunday Baranowski studied Bhagawan when he was alighting through the stairs. His experience was unparalleled. The color bands that were emanating from Sri Sai, the aura around Him astonished Baranowski. White and Pink color bands emanated from Bhagawan and were spreading boundlessly as if reaching the skies. White color stands for purity, peace. Pink color stands for Love, generosity and kindness. Along with these bands, bands of silver and golden color were also emitted from Sai. Dr. Baranowski has not heard or seen the rays of silver and golden color. This is his first experience. These bright and brilliant bands which emanated from Him and encircled each devotee who was waiting for his Darshan.

Dr. Barnowski stayed at Prasanti Nilayam for a week and daily he was studying Bhagawan. Whenever he has seen, he had astounding and flabbergasting and stupefying experience. The people around used up the Divine Energy that emanated from Bhagawan. It simply flowed out of him and people absorbed it. Barnowski explained every human would have some sort of Colored Aura. These can be as five colors. They represent one’s physical status, his subtle mental status, character, philosophic and philanthropic attitude etc. Till that time he has not come across any person emitting bands more than 2 ½ meters. But the Aura of Sri Sai was very wide and reaching beyond horizon. He confessed that he can’t find a scientific explanation for this unique phenomenon. The analysis of the color bands emitted from Sri Sai revealed that Bhagawan Sai Baba is embodiment of Divine Love and Compassion.

Barnowski explained that he found that the Lovely Aura emanated from Bhagawan wrap around you and run through you. The people who are enjoying the proximity of Baba are filled with the Divine energy. Even then it is not getting exhausted. It is a perpetual flow. It is not possible for any ordinary Mortal. I saw Swami talking to a suffering small girl in a wheel- chair. When the Aura emitted from Swami fondled the girl, it increased multi fold and penetrated through the child. All these elucidation amply prove that Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai is not an ordinary Mortal and is an Avatar.

The births of an Avatar do not necessitate the fusion of male and female gametes, which is a must for any Mortal. For example, Sri Rama was born when Kausalya consumed the Payas brought out from Putra Kamesti Yagna. Sri Krishna was born to Devaki as eighth child in the prison as God willed. The Amsavatar of Rudra, Hanuman was born when Pawan impregnated Shiva’s energy into the womb of mother Anjana Devi. Virgin Mary gave birth to Jesus Christ.

Likewise, Sri Shiridi Sai Baba was born to Devagiriamma when God blessed her that he himself will be born as her son. Sri Satya Sai was born when God willed and blessed Eswaramma through Pravesa.

The birth of Avatars through the process of Pravesa in contrary to Prasava of Mortals would not blemish the morality and character of the Mothers. As God has chosen his own mother, he blessed them that they will be worshipped as Mother of Eswara.

It is said that two types of characteristics mark Divinity. The first is termed SVARUPA LAKSHANA the second is called THATASTA LAKSHANA. When Divinity descends in human form, IT manifests sixteen aspects of selfless, loving, universal attractive features or powers. Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba is endowed with sixteen “attracting” powers. Hence he is the Poornavatar.

Bhagawan says that the human birth is the highest of all the creations of His since He has instilled in him the power of Himself, and slowly the human is to be elevated to the Divyatma Swarupa (as That of Bhagawan). That is The Sai Mission. God (Sri Sathya Sai Baba) is personification of LOVE. That means He wants the humans should be endowed with LOVE.

Bhagawan Sathya Sai Baba’s Avatar is unique

The uniqueness of Sai Avatar is that He wants to transform the individual as well as the world with his spiritual revolution based on five luminous pillars of Sai philosophy- Truth, Righteousness, Peace, Love, and Non-violence. Bhagawan has become a unifying force from Arctic to the Antarctica, thanks to His charismatic personality and universality and catholicity of His outlook. Bhagawan Baba’s Mission is to achieve world unity and bring the Golden age on the earth. He explains the role that He has come to play in the present crisis-ridden world in his own words;

“This Avatar has come to correct the intelligence (Budhi) by various means”.

He distinguishes His role from that of Rama and Krishna, who had to kill one or more individuals, who could be identified as enemies of the righteousness and thereby restore the supremacy of virtues. In the present day, the whole world is tainted by wickedness and none will survive if he tries to uproot wickedness. Bhagawan Baba makes another important distinction between His role and that of Rama and Krishna. Rama came to establish Sathya (Truth) and Dharma (Righteousness). Krishna has come to foster Shanti (Peace) and Prema (Love). However now, Bhagawan says ,

“All these four values are in the danger of being dried up. That is why the present Avatar has come”

"Where there is a desire for mental tranquility, I hurry to grant tranquility, where there is dispiritedness, I hasten to raise the drooping heart, where there is no mutual trust, I rush to restore trust. I am ever on the move to fulfil the Mission for which I have come. I want to light the lamp of Prema in every heart”
